The Russian adjective system is quite different from English adjective conjugation as Russian nouns, and accordingly adjectives, can take on either a masculine, feminine, or neutral form. Consequently, the adjectives must be conjugated according to the gender of the noun they describe. Take a look below for some examples. In general, the suffixes used below are used to conjugate an adjective to its appropriate gender form.
